Made by roasting Sencha leaves over high heat. Only the highest grade (first harvest) is used, resulting in chestnut-brown tea leaves that retain maximum aroma. Due to its roasting process, Hojicha is extremely low in caffeine and suitable to be enjoyed even before bedtime.
