About the Artist
Meet Carissa Gan, an abstract artist residing in Malaysia, represented by the Sound of Art gallery in Singapore.
She enjoys working with a variety of mediums, with her favourites being acrylics, watercolours and oil pastels. Her works are completely intuitive, with each painting telling its own unique story through wild brushstrokes, colours and details.
Like wildflowers, Carissa hopes her art expresses the courage to bloom with confidence – unapologetic, unrestrained, and deeply rooted in a culture that values progress over perfection.
